You can attach the bed rail to the bed in three different ways to prevent it from slipping, tipping over or falling out. It is possible to screw the feet of the grille firmly into place. If you prefer a quicker installation, you can attach the bed rail to the individual slats with the variably adjustable, included safety Velcro strap or tighten it to the slatted frame with the included tensioning strap.

The bed rail is delivered pre-assembled. This makes assembly and disassembly quick and easy. Thanks to the stable support feet and the individually adjustable strap system, it can be securely attached to the slatted frame in just a few steps and is ready for use. Simply clamp it between the slatted frame and mattress and you're done. Additional screwing to the bed is not necessary. The extra wide support feet prevent slipping on the slatted frame.

Check whether the bed meets the requirements
For beds with fastening options: For a secure hold of the bed rail, it is important that the rail is fixed with one of the fastening options (strap, Velcro, screw connection). Therefore, you cannot use this bed rail with box springs and water beds.
For mattress heights of 10-30 cm: Higher mattresses offer too little barrier and your child can fall over the mattress. Lower mattresses create a gap between the bed rail and the mattress in which the child can get caught and in the worst case strangle. Therefore, please make sure with every bed rail that this gap does not form!
For a bed length of 150 to 200 cm: Your child should be able to leave the bed, and for this reason alone you should not build bed rails all around the bed. To ensure that your child can get in and out of bed safely and does not get trapped, please make sure that you choose the right bed rail length.
PLEASE DO NOT DO IT LIKE THIS!
To summarise once again:
- Pay attention to the minimum mattress height to prevent slipping.
- Pay attention to the maximum mattress height so that your child does not fall out.
- Please do not build a "bed barrier castle" so that your child can get out of bed by itself. A bed rail is not a substitute for a cot.
