Checklist for a child-safe kitchen

Our safety tips:

  • Handles and grips of cooking utensils should always be turned backwards. If possible, move pans and pots to the back of the hobs after cooking.
  • Avoid dangling cables of electrical appliances such as kettles, coffee makers, etc. Your child could pull on them and seriously injure himself.
  • Make sure that breakable objects, containers, cleaning agents etc. are kept out of reach of children.
  • Be careful when handling electrical appliances near water! They could fall into the water and cause a dangerous electric shock.
